Anyone run Eflite outrunner 370-1320kv on 3s without burning up? They state 2-3s for the 980kv, but only 2s for the 1320kv.
Just realized maybe should have been in Power Systems. Hopefully close enough.

With a small enough propeller, and extremely carefull throttle management, it can be done. But I certainly don't recommend it;)

I run this motor on 3S. With a 9X3.8 APC, 3S TP1320ProLt this thing pulls 18A (WOT) on a fully charged pack. If you know how to use your left hand and stay off the power, it is a fun set up.

I've been running my Eflite 370-1320 (outrunner) on TP 1320 3s with a GWS 9070 prop for months without a problem. The heatshrink melted back a little on the Eflite 20 esc after a long wide open flight, but other than that, no problems. 9.5 oz. plane (parkflyer) has unlimited vertical, and pleasingly long flight times. I've tried lot's of different props and battery's and found this combo works best. I fly two battery's in the morning and two in the evening almost everyday, no problems with this motor!
