Slopers unite! Tomorrow the winds rise to 13 mph and the direction is SE. Flying will be in the bowl and the wind will be warm for winter. I'm hoping that Todd can get his Moth's rx installed and battery charged. Of course he will need to get a kitchen pass too. I will have have two ships ready for flight.

So, wrap your holiday presents tonight, so the wives will let you off tomorrow around noon time. You will still need gloves, but some of you guys won't wear them, because you are so tough.

Let me hear from you!!!!

I told my dear wife about you guys, and she just shook her head in disbelief. Christmas Eve? She'd shoot me if I tried to arrange something like that on Christmas Eve.

Hope you have a great time and survive to tell all about it.

Hey Guy!
I hope you have fun! I'm in Tulsa for a couple of days. I took my brother to slope the Keystone Lake dam. Great conditions and tons of lift. I was flying my Slinger and got in the rotor at the top, it was slammed into the ground and slide in front of on-coming traffic and got hit by a 1999 GMC pickup doing 60 mph (The only vehicle to pass for about 5+ minutes) and the rest is history. The electronics made it, but the wing is toast. On a good note the Razor I picked up at Rick's grand opening just needs radio gear. Merry Christmas to All

Larry,
Thats a sad but funny story. I have heard of some slopers at Pt Fermin and Long Beach's Redondo getting caught on the road, getting run over, but in their case their plane sprung back to shape. A pure EPP wing can do that sometimes.
Glad your electronics didn't get toasted.

Hurry back, I'm waiting for the next installment of your OLY2 build thread. Just kidding, have a great holiday trip.

Dave,
I am guessing you did not go sloping.

I almost went out to fly my slinger. Before lunch it was real calm, then about 10 minutes later it started to rain. Oh well, I did get some great flying in yesterday.

Merry Christmas, Ken

Dave,

Merry Christmas, Ken
Ken,
Good guess. I had a fine time at home wrapping presents. Had I gone, well I would have been up late doing that same job. I flew my slinger yesterday, and
it was good.

Merry Christmas,
Dave
