I'm having a problem with pictures on the forum. Started about a week ago, still having the same problem no matter what I try. There are no pictures or thumbnails displayed at all, just a discription. When I click on them, it takes me to another page where the pictures should be displayed. Still just a discription, no pictures, even if I 'click' forward or reverse. To the best of my knowledge there's nothing 'new' on this end, no new programs, etc. So... what the @#$%$##@ is going on?

Is your pic driver not working?
I've not had a problem at all.

Several things can cause this. What browser are you using?
Frequently this is a security or speed-up setting, something saying not to display the images. If you are using MSIE and have a little icon in the upper left of just an outline of the 'picture' then go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced the Multimedia section and make sure "show pictures" is checked on. If it is, then you may have to trust rcgroups.com more in your security settings.
Pop-up blockers (Google, Yahoo,... ad naseum) can also block pictures depending on which kind it is. Play with your security settings if need be, however, word of caution, if making a change to a setting DOES NOT change the effect, immediately change it back! Do not change a bunch of things at once, you can really mess up your browser and consequently your machine.
Happy hunting, it's probably just a check box someplace!

Shaun,
I'm using Netscape and haven't had this problem until just a few days ago. Did check all the 'check-boxes' I could find, seem to be the same as always. This is only happening here, not on other forums or sites. That makes me think that something has changed 'here'.

PS - Hmm, come to think about it, it may not be a bad deal! If I can't see what's shown then I can't get jealous, or envious...

Click your "private messages" button, and then go to the left side menu "Settings & Options" > "edit Options"
See if there aren't any settings for this BBS that need to be reset.

Umi,
Thanks, just gave it a try. Afraid it isn't making any difference, still no pictures.
