G'day Shawn,

The only TP's I have seen in the country (only 3 sizes) are at Electric orange:

I have got mine (11.1v, 1320 & 2000 Mah Pro Lites) through Drangonfly Innovations:

I went TP because they were the first to offer the balancing connection and I liked the concept having tossed out a couple of packs due to my abuse. In my novice opinion they are a great pack.

Nowadays every brand one is offering balancers and I'm considering switching to Polyquest due to them being readily available:

Yes, I have searched high and low, just thought there might be some secret supply somewhere locally that you had to be in the know to know if you know what I mean :p . I really like the 2100 prolites but I haven't found them locally and have been buying them from either cheap battery packs or Bishop Power Products in the US. I like the balancing option too and will not buy a pack if that feature is not offered.

I've tried the early polyquests and got burnt (probably from running them to hard :D )so not overly keen to try them again. I am going to get a couple of the new hyperion packs to try though. They look good and will be available locally from Dave (airstrike) as well

Shawn if you are after the 2100 pro lights we can get the Align ones here in OZ at good prices.

these are the same cells as the tp ones. Only come in 3s packs but they are a good saving.
The new polyquest/hyperion/flight power are all available locally and are very good but the price is high and so is the weight.

I'll be getting in some 2S2200 12C packs and have 3S2200 packs at the moment that do 10C -- right now I'm gearing up trying to pick the preferred packs for people, however it seems that everyone ends up needing every size *laugh* *Groan*.

Currently I'm importing cells directly from the factories so it's a good way to keep the costs down. I'm going to be testing these new cells out over the Christmas/Holiday period, no way I want to be importing cells that cannot live up their stated performance. Anyone want to help test :D

Paul.

Paul , lipos are a very fickle market. My tip is resell a brand available locally. Let them take the risk and you can buy as needed.

Ozace,

(Still sheilding my red face here)

Well, by 'locally', that could mean Asia, especially considering that I can get goods from them within 3 days and the prices direct from the factory are far more inline with what one would expect.

I could easially get GWS lipos but I think that they need more range and better C ratings.

Anyhow, I've got a shipment of 20 x 2S2200 @12C cells arriving today I hope (Christmas postage tends to slow things down a little), first test is going to be in my pylon racer - hopefully I won't be testing the impact resistance.

Paul.
