Yep...the Weasel worked some slope lift in Research Park.
South of Old Madison Pike, there's a big dirt pile probably 20ft high and maybe 50yds long right along the west side of the road. Nice nearly vertical face to the west. Kinda muddy today, but enough wind to play around in. Winds were probably 8mph or so out of the WNW. Needed a little more, but had a few minutes of fun.
I had a few flights that were over a minute. Just nice gentle cruising back and forth. Nothing fancy. Had to really feel it out since I'd never sloped anything quite that small. Several times some gusts came thru that shot me up at least 50-60 feet above the slope.
Gary had his PocketPC camera and snapped a few pictures. Not the best quality, but they get the point across. It is hard to tell from the pics, but it was really muddy...I mean glad-I-brought-some-extra-shoes muddy. Can't wait till it dries out to try it again with some stronger west winds.
It was perfect for a lunchtime slope fix! ;)
