Hey Guys,
This January when the call to go sloping is heard, all you slope guys will need some hand protection. Here's a link from the Slope forum about transmitter mitts and gloves. You can buy them or make them, but just make sure you have something to keep your hands warm during the coldest part of the slope season.

Yeah, don't do like I did and try to fly on the top of a mountain in sub-zero windchill with an un-gloved hand. Makes for a really short flight!

Really, what I'm thinking about doing is getting a pair of gloves and cutting a little hole just big enough for the stick at the point where my thumb and forefinger grab it. Just enough for skin-to-stick contact.

Interesting ideas in that thread though!

These are fingerless gloves that remind me of Dickens’ Christmas Carol. They help and probably could be made by cutting the thumb and finger off of a pair of cotton work gloves. The gloves don’t show up well in the picture. They are angora wool. The moths found them, which adds to the Charles Dickens Scrooge character. I could wear them for begging for money to replace my old airplane.

Now why would you want to replace that beautiful airplane. I've seen it fly, and it is a gem.
