Wow! Those are nice. Is the 51" Q2 a good electric conversion?

Interesting...... I've been wanting to do a Quickie for years and years and even started the Sigfried Glockner 1/2A design but never finished it as I was moving all electric then. Would be easy to do now.
This model is just over 1/4 scale and unless it's really heavy should make a really interesting conversion.....
Where exactly are you guys? With a 253 area code you're not in Seattle itself.

Yes, this model is nice. The fuse looks like a Quickie rather than a Q2, but he cowl looks like a Q2.

When will the P-38 be in stock?

I don't think "Auburn Model Works" will be a good name?

The Long EZ looks like the same model others are selling for about $120.

Yes it does. Now if I could just find the Quickie for $120! :)

There was a lot of artistic license in the full scale Quickie cowl. Some made the pretty and more rounded shapes from the foam and some made the cowl more square and less rounded...were probably in a hurry to go fly what they were building..;)
The Q-2 cowls were from a glass mold and were all pretty and rounded.

Thanks for the info Thomas. So this is indeed a model of the single seat Quickie. I like the rounded cowl; hopefully it doesn't have the glow-engine cutout since I want to electrify it.
