My keyboard is not Hebrew compatible, but did you guys try to write here in Hebrew ?

If yes, I would recommend it as easier for most Israelis :)

no prob if hebrew is enabled on whatever OS you use...

BUT, i would rather see israelis use as much english here as possible...it can only help to get better aquainted with the language. internet is just more useful when you're good at english.

either way all my replies will be in english as typing a single sentence in hebrew can easily take me an hour....

Pardon my dumb question...

Are Hebrew and Yidish the same?

WOW!

That was more answer than I figured it would be, but it was interesting.

I am slowly making my way down the page. From what I gather as Jews made there way into Europe they made themselves at home and soaked up the local culture...

It's kind of like what passes here for Spanish... no Spaniard would understand most of it unless he spoke some English as well... We call it Spanglish. I had a Spanish customer call it something I would get the moderator upset with... :censored: (Some folks are purist)

I don't understand why the British speak American with a funny accent and try to make it their own by calling it English.

Not sure if it will work for you but I fainally got all the chinese symbols off by going to the IE tool bar then select languages and deleted chinese, you probably need to add Hebrew [He] which is an option in the list. I am not sure but it may help. It may only be a partial answer.

There is also an option in the View menu for encoding.

That didn't look right, there is also a place for setting up languages etc in the control panel.. Never noticed it before, never had reason to.

Probably need to (ACK!) read the manual or possibly enough online help in the F1 keys.

start> settings> control panel> regionl settings> then check off the additional languages you want supported....at least that's how it goes in WIN2000
