Ok guys..

I've got a few things I need to move out, I have much more, just haven't gotten around to dragging them out to take the pics..

First up..

I have a Dominatrix, designed by Jeff Skrebs.. It is an elevator/rudder only - good 2nd airplane.. Flies on a nice IPS or a nice CDrom motor.. Very neat lil' airplane.. I built mine a year ago around Halloween, hence the colors.. It is covered in Doculam and painted with Krylon..

Asking $35..

Up next - Page Aviation 80" Super Cub.. Here is a link to Adrian's site Click me (http://www.adrianpage.com/supercub80.html) If you've seen any of Adrian's birds, you'll know this is a nice one.. This joker is big, but is built for electric from the start.. She is in the bones and needs a few things to be completed, Wing struts, ailerons, minimal items.. I just didn't finish building it.. I was going to run a 4S2P pack in it.. Will fly great with a cheap Mega or a nice AXI.. there is a HUGE thread on this bird here.. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=246286&highlight=page+cub

Kit goes for $130.. I'm asking the same for it in the bones...

Hmm.. what next? How about an Aerolock Models Miss June? There is a link to the kit here.. (http://www.aerolockmodels.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=2) This model was one of the beta kits with the redesigns needed after the Alpha model.. It is a pre-production kit with final revisions..

It needs a little TLC mainly cosmetic.. It has been flown a bunch but has a good bit of life left in it.. The wing is glued to the fuse and will not break into a 2 piece model..

I am asking $35 for this bird..

OK, what next.. How about a lil' balsa 3Der? A few years ago a foamy came out, the T3D which was foam.. Me and Martin Hunter thought - surely we could sell a balsa version.. So we put our heads together and this is what came out.. Named the Nemesis as that is what it was designed to be, to the T3D... It is a fun lil' 3d bird that can be flown on either your average IPS from a Tigermoth on maybe a 3S 400ish pack.. Slap a cdrom motor in it and she really comes alive.. I flew several of these with everything from the IPS to a Razor 350.. :D

Now, I have a few of these laying around.. I am selling 1 kit and 1 in the bones, all you need to do is cover it and fly.. This kit is still availble - from MAE however, it is slightly redesigned and is labelled the Nemesis II.. The redesign is basically a carbon rod down the fuse.. I laminated carbon mat on mine.. Whoever picks this up, I can tell you where to reinforce for the best performance...

Kit is sold.. $30 for the bones..

I also have some Dubro 4-40 Pull/Pull setups that I will sell for $5 a pop.. I think these go for around $8 at Tower..

Also have an LMH 110 that has most of the mechancial bits that I will sell for $25..

I need to go through the rest of my stuff and see what else I have...

Ok, up next.. Andy... Gary.. I am also selling the small cub.. :) $100..

I also have a Pacific Aero Edge 540 NIB 40 sized that is great for conversion or...slimey power I am about to let go.. Sells for $210, I'll let it go for $185OBO + shipping

I also have some other stuff..

GWS A-10, eh, I dunno, I'm out of town and need to look, but I keep promising the lil' lady I'll list some of this stuff.. So it's getting listed.. :)

Another "not locally", but in that same forum, there's a guy posting some gliders for sale and has a 48" sloper wing for only $35 shipped. He has a link to the thread he won it from a few weeks ago.

Hey Guys,

I've decided to consolidate all my batteries into one brand - Thunderpower because Thunderpower batteries can individually balance each cell seperately; accordingly, I have the following batteries for sale. All but #2 and #3 have ultra-dean connectors. Except for #1, the prices listed are approximately $10 less than what they cost me at Ricks.

#1 - E-Tec 7.4v 1000mah 6C continuous rating this battery is 8 months old but is in fine working condition + another 7.4v unkown battery brand in fair working condition both for $15

#2 - E-Tec 7.4v 1000mah 10C continuous rating this battery is new with only 4 cycles on it for $20

#3 - E-Tec 7.4v 1000mah 10C continuous rating this battery is new with only 2 cycles on it for $20

#4 - Integrity 7.4v 1500mah 15C continuous rating this battery has only 8 cycles on it for $25

#5 - Tanic 11.1v 1500mah 10-12C continuous rating this battery is new with only 2 cycles on it for $45

I'll take #3. What does it weigh? And maybe #2 as well depending on what they both weigh. I'm thinking this would work well on my DBPS.

atjurhs
Apr 11, 2006, 09:11 PM
Chris,

#2, and #3 would both work well on the DBPS. #1 might depending upon your current draw.

They each weigh 2oz. see you on Thursday morning. You can have #2 after I run it empty on my DBPS :) If you want #1 or #3 you can have them "fully loaded" Thursday morning.

UAGrad2001
Apr 11, 2006, 09:11 PM
Does #2 weigh that as well because I might take both off your hands.

Yep, I edited my previous post, see above.

Each of the 7.4v E-Tec 1000mah batts weigh 2oz.

The extra unknown batt in #1 weighs 2.4oz.

The 7.4v 1500mah Integrity batt #4 weighs 3.3oz. if your DBPS can handle the extra ounce this would be a great DBPS battery

And the 11.1v Tanic 1500mah weighs 4.1oz.

ghee-grose
Apr 12, 2006, 07:38 AM
Do you know the mah on the "unknown" pack, or is that what is unknown? Just wondering what you would charge it at if you don't know.

atjurhs
Apr 12, 2006, 10:22 AM
The unknown battery is a 7.4volt 2cell. I think it was rebuilt by Don from a 3cell into a 2cell because the third cell went bad. It performs about the same as the E-Tec it is listed with. Don tells me that it is from Dymond and that it was originally an 1100 or 1300mah rated at 6C. I just use it till it reaches the LVC of the ESC then stick it on my Triton and charge it back up. I think it usually recharges back 700-800mah. Hope that answers the question :)

After 24 whole hours and no replies to my querry, I'm guessing that one or more of the following apply:
Perhaps folks don't read this thread.
Perhaps those with broken AAs are holding on to them, just in case......
or perhaps the most likely: Nobody can break, wear out, or kill one!

The tools are ready.
The foam has been marked.
The daring little Aero Ace (still works!) is ill-at-ease about the whole thing. Can anyone come to the rescue!?

The tools reminded me.... http://www.dixielandsales.com/ .....if you've never been by, it's worth a prowl. Cheap hand and power tools. Plenty of power for a hobby application and CHEAP! :D My favorite word. lol... 18v cordless drills for about 9 bucks. I know, most go to Harbor Freight, but still worth a look when you have the time, and your wife can look at trinkets while you prowl! 2 blocks east of the Pkwy off Oakwood on Buford Street. I went Tuesday and picked up a "magnetic picky uppy thingy", laser level, utility knives, and a few impulse items.

Jim

Oh yea, if the price tag is green, thats your cost. If it's orange, it's half of what it's marked.

Exactly what I was thinking of, and the price is right. (same as AA) Unfortunately out of stock right now. But Wait!

I see it uses a KAN Ni-MH 3.6V 1/3 AAA 150mAh Mini JST Three Cell Flat Pack instead of a LiPo, but who knows, a LiPo upgrade might be possible...

May need some help from Frank to come up with a new slightly smaller set of Tundra Tires! Can you believe landing gear on a flying wing? :)

Hey Jims, when I met Dave Blum (the diddlebug scale 182 guy) at SEFF, he flew his Diddle 182 with a spektrum rx in it. Fit in there pretty good. Not sure how much of a difference in fuse width there is on this plane, but it could be tight.

RJ, you've seen dleviner's DiddleRod fly, so you know how fragile a plane it is ;)

Great deal on a plane either way, I'd say!

That's generally good news on the Rx, since that's all I use any more.

Yes, I've seen Dave's, and it looked like great fun to me. Fragile? I never ever saw a plane I could not crash and demolish. :D But remember, this one has Snoopy at the controls, like a guardian angel.

Well I feel the NEED for SPEED.

You all saw how fast and manuverable my Slinger WAS before David crunched it. Well since I have to replace the core I thought I might as well upgrade the drive train too

Therefore the current drive train is up for sale.

You get:

BMS 380 Max servos (2) - LHS cost of $26 each, your cost $25 for both
MotorMaX 22amp LiPo ready ESC - LHS cost of $42 each, your cost $25
MotorMaX JustGoFly 400F - LHS cost of $42 each, your cost $25
Slinger Wing Cores - LHS cost of $24 each, your cost FREE :D You might want to replace the Slinger Wing Cores.

Sold as a total package for $75

You will need your own Rx. If you want the TP Pro-Lite battery that went in it, I'll sell that for another $25. At LHS that's another $42. So here's a potential savings of $77 from what these components would cost you at the LHS.

Here's some more powertrain stuff for sale.

a couple of brushed 350 motors and a corresponding generic ESC. The gearbox is a "C". These are what I used on my SS before I went LiPo and Brushless. The ESC was bought at Rick's. I know it will handle 9.6 volts with a Speed400 motor and a 1047 prop. So anything less and you'd surely be safe.

How's $20 sound for all three?

I'm almost embarassed to admit I have this  but its been taking up space in my shop for several years. It's called a Su-do-koi (pseudo Sukoi) and is a fun-fly type plane. Balsa/ply profile. Wingspan about 48". I flew it with a poor .40 engine and it would do unlimited vertical! It was fun, but about then is when I converted over to all electric or gliders. It has a hole in the top left wing Monokote, but otherwise is in pretty good shape. All the electronics mount inside the wing. The underside of the wing is solid dark blue for a nice contrast with the upper surface.

Somebody make me an offer!

Are the servos in it? What comes with the airframe?

Randy,
I'll trade you all my shogun stuff for your Su-do-koi.

I have 2 airframes, a V1 and a v2 with the 2nd one flying, great new blades, parts, etc.

Wait, didn't I just say I am downsizing?

oh well...I'll take it if you want to trade

Caleb, you've got a trade! But you better come look at it first. There's no electronics at all, and no engine. Give me a call. I'll PM you my home phone number

Andy, there's nothing but the airframe. It does have the landing gear, wheels and all pushrods/clevises, and a fuel tank buried in the wing.

Your Fun Fly plane looks like a good electric conversion opportunity for Brad S, should he accept the challenge! :D

Slow stick. Has been flown & kit-bashed. My son has cut ailerons on it. No motor or gear box. What's in the photo is what you get. $10 obo SOLD

8-cell 1050 Mah NiMh battery. Hasn't been used in a while, and we can't find the adapter to cycle it. This was used to power the slow-stick only and worked fine. Money refunded if it doesn't cycle to at least 900 mah. $10 obo

PM sent on the sorta SS. Ailerons sound like Fun!

Edit - Paid for and picked up! Now I have no more excuse other than "getting a Round Tuit" to getting my busted SS assimilated with this SS hardware and then flying again - and now the opportunity to add ailerons! :D

Let's see, the ailerons go on the right stick, and the rudder goes onto the left stick. I'll have to start learning to fly using both hands now!

Hellcat for sale

.60 sized plane, span about 56"

We bought this used, and have never installed gear in it. The plane has not been crashed, but does look like it took quite a hard landing. Construction & paint quality look ok. The aileron linkages are a little stiff.

priced to move at $25

Mostly built Great Planes Easy Sport 40. Built from a kit, not an ARF. The wings & tails are complete, and the fuse is about 2/3rds done. Note this plane has been started as a tail-dragger, not tricycle gear.

All parts are there. Plans, instruction manual, decals, etc.

Lots of extra hardware, that was not in the kit included too. Motor mount, wheels, spinner, fuel tank, & foam wrapper.

More info on the plane here:

I am selling a thermal Zagi which was converted to a slope soarer and has been flown as such. Included are (two) Cirrus CS-10BB servos, 600mah 4 cell NiCd battery pack, and a battery extension. Asking $40.00 cash. Selling to local guys only, you will need to arrange pickup.

Just needs a receiver and a radio with mixing and you are ready-to-fly.

Thank you, Ken

plane has been sold :)

thanks
