What is the most available 2 part epoxy putty here in North America. I get the English magazine in which the product "Milliput" is mentioned regularly. It appears to be available only in the UK. Even a search of e-monster only gives UK suppliers and the shipping is going to drive the cost sky high.
Any help
Thanx

Rex R....Thanks for the link. That appears to be what I'm looking for. I'll check out HOme Depot or Canadian Tire. I just need small amounts from time to time.
Thanx again

Hi
Milliput is availible at one of the local hobby stores where i live, but the stuff RexR
recomended seems to be about the same.
Milliput can be drilled and tapped, cures under water etc,so if you can get the other stuff go with that.

Milliput can be ordered in the US from http://www.ares-server.com/Ares/Ares.asp?MerchantID=RET01229&Action=Catalog&Type=Product&ID=81004. The stuff has no substitute! It has a clay-like consistancy, and can be worked with water to smooth on. It's tough to sand by hand, but it is sandable- not gummy/plasticky like regular epoxies. And it really sticks to styrene! Absolutely can't peel it off, unlike materials like Bondo. Not cheap, but I use it where it's really needed.

The best locally and it may also be for you is plumber's epoxy used to join PVC pipes to old lead plumbing. Again, brands may vary, but here it's the French "Atmos Mastic". It comes in two lipstick-sized tubes.

well i use two types,
one Epoxi-patch a two part pasty epoxy. says its a hysol division of dexter corp. from NY to Tokyo. i like it cause it can be worked as you want . dril tap ETC. it is slow to cure. I find that this will level it self so you need to take care to keep it were you want it.
the second is new to me but so far its worked. Its Quik-cure Epoxy, it has a couple of kinds. 5 minutes to 20 minutes. its liquid two part, runs when you don't watch it . you need to confine it.

What is the reason you couldn't use West Systems epoxy resin (I know a lot of you use it over glass cloth) and mix it with MicroBalloons to whatever consistency you want...? Most hobby stores carry all the epoxies and the MicroBalloons filler.
