Been flying/hovering and fff heli for two years and want to step up my skills to rolls, inverted and loops. I have a Hummingbird CP and FP. Early attmepts to loop wiht the FP have been a disaster, and theres no way with my skills, I'd try it with the CP at this point.
Rather than screwing up my heli tx, can I use the real flight tx with G2 lite for inverted flight? Tried help on the real flight website, but I"m still not clear on if it cna be done and how to set up the sim.
Thanks

I did it (in older pre-Interlink "full" RealFlight G2) using a 6-ch Futaba transmitter and a USB interface from milehighwings.com. I copied a helie and modified the radio parameters of the copy so that Idle Up switch is controlled by 5th channel of my transmitter, and Throttle Hold--by 6th.
From the title of your post I deduced that you have an Interlink controller, right? It should have a couple of buttons, which can be configured (I guess, they are already configured by default) to control Idle Up and Throttle Hold. Try them: if you are sitting on the ground and throttle stick doesn't make the rotor spin, this means that the Throttle Hold switch is turned on. To test the Idle Up, take the helie up, flip it uspide-down and move the throttle stick down--if the helie fles up, instead of falling to the ground, the Idle Up switch is on.
Hope this helps,
Boris

Thanks, can the INterlink tx be configured? I couldnt find any way last time I looked. And how the hey do you make em flip upside down? I tried going like mad and pulling all up, but Im not convinced this is the right technique, especially if your in a hover like many vids I've seen. I have used idle up to auto rotate, but it also soemhow changes pitch pos and negative? Sorry, but this whole concept even after reading hasnt gelled.
Getting old I guess. Hmmm, have I been throwing the wrong swithc try to find negative pitch?
