i had bought a E-Flight 40 amp esc to do some bench testing on some rewound outrunners. powered the esc with a PS not a battery all was fine untill i had made the mistake of not using a polarized plug and hooked up the power backwards. now for the Q. what gets cooked when the power is hooked up backwards. i used a huntron and checked the FETs and diodes. all the FETs look good and all but one diode look ok. i replaced the diode and still no joy. i havent been able to find a schematic for the PWM ic. with no real way of checking this out. im not sure if it has craped the bed too. does it go when the polarity is reversed too?
