Not sure if this is the absolutely right place to put this, but I've spent the last day getting a FMS heli model to feel and look a bit like a GWS Mini-Dragonfly, one thing is for sure, it's certainly as unstable and crashes just as much :)

Available at http://www.pldaniels.com/flying/index.html?page=fms

NOTE - this was done for FMS 8.5 Alpha

I don't know if I missed any settings but when I tried the stock heli models provided by FMS 7 Beta (the latest recommended version) the heli is ulta-unrealistic in terms of flying characteristics.
The graphics of the plane model itself look nice. However if the flying physics is far from reality it is useless as a sim.

shschon,

You really need to use FMS Alpha 8.5 and turn on the wind-option a little bit (0.5m/sec wind + 0.25m/sec gust).... it'll suddenly change :)

I agree, in FMS 7 Beta it's totally unrealistic. ... try 8.5, you'll be surprised (still not perfect but certainly /better/ ).
