I am astonished that on this thread site for Simulators no one has mentioned Pre Flight Sim!

I was browsing on the net for simulators for RC models and came across an Australian site that had developed a model flying simulator called Pre Flight. I was very impressed with the site and downloaded a demo version of the simulator to my pc. This sim is on par with Clearview and has some astonishing models with it and an impressive array of free downloads that all work with the Demo version. You can buy the full program for $49.00 and it will be supplied with an interface cable to suite your Transmitter ( you must specify the type you use when purchasing).

This is an excellent simulator in my eyes and being in the development stages of building a V22 Osprey, the model of this aircraft for Pre Flight is getting a lot of use out of me at the minute. Try it and see what you think. The site is www.preflightsim.com

I tried it - couldn't wait to do the Add/remove programs option for it. Ugh. In fact, the uninstall did not work correctly and it left all sorts of digital detritus. Sorry - not worth the bandwidth IMHO. YMMV

You didn't look very far because Pre-Flight has been discussed here often. Many of us have tried it but very few of us have liked it. I'd say it's almost on a par with FMS....but that's free.
