Nice looking product. A+ design and meeting a high need area. Wish I had a plane that needed a set of gear. Good job!

What are the dimensions of the portion that is to mount against the fuselage?

This looks like it could fill a real need. Landing gear seems to be the weakness of many many small models from many sources, in kits, ARFs, and even RTFs.

We're expanding the Parkflyer Landing Gear line to include Profile 3D planes.

We have two sizes, small for 10-18 oz. outdoor electric 3d planes, and a larger size for balsa 3D profiles up to 26 oz. We also have an install kit for putting the small gear onto 6mm depron or bluecor profiles. It includes a 6mm birch ply mount and hardware. All of these gear include our parkflyer axles. We shot some informal video of an evening spent testing the profile landing gear.

This is the small profile gear, and the test plane is a Charger RC Profile, weighing about 14 oz. We smacked the ground dozens and dozens of times during the course of the evening, and had to straighten the gear once about halfway through.

This install was done using our install kit with plywood square, and it worked flawlessly.

If you decide to purchase our profile landing gear, please pick a color you really like, because you will have this gear for a long time. :D

Blucor....looked like you were having a "Bash" fest on the landing gear! Looks like the plane was holding up to the bashing as well!

Yeah, we beat that plane into submission. I let everyone fly it, and I made everyone land it -badly. Actually, the ChargerRC planes are pretty nice. I think we'll be carrying them in our store because they are *very* quick to build and fly good, too.

I love the chargerRC planes I have both the CR1 abd CR2. Since this was a landing gear thread, I high recommend the landing gear from chargerRC. Very simple and stout and can be used on most foamies. The kit costs $ 6.00 - Jim
