i have a rush evo! it is a great car but i really wish that i had spent the little bit more and got the mt2 which is only £200. i would go for that but if you are really stuck for cash the rush evo is a good car to start with but you might want a new car after a while.

I have the rush evo too!! Its my first nitro car and its great.its really thrilling to drive? (control) but you may want upgrades in the future. i have upgraded various parts now like a new engine, air-filter, tires, body clutch bell and a new slipper clutch.

i have a s-maxx and ive upgraded to a O.S. 18, tuned pipe, new proline tires etc....so i wanted something to race with that is cheap so i thought of that. So i will probably not upgrade it. thanks for the advice.

By race do you mean, just racing with your mates, messing about, or at a proper RC race track?
If you mean the later, I wouldnt recommend the Rush, as its not that great of a race truck.

I mean like at a local track that people come and race around for a bit. I used to race my s-maxx but not anymore.

yeh but its more expensive and parts may cost more as they are higher quality. i wouldnt go for an rc10gt as a begginer car as it is a bit fast

The GT RTRs engine sucks and is prone to catastrophic failure of the con rod. :o I know this from experience.
The Rush line is a great n00b truck. Hell, I used to beat the hell out of my Rushes on teh track and in hte back yard..I've jumped so many fences, sheds,...houses...with that thing and it just kept on coming back for more abuse. I can honestly say that I have never broken a major structural component on either of my Rushes, despite going into a fire hidrent at 40 miles an hour..or a caged Coke vending machine at nearly 50..
The only thing I didn't like with the Gen 1 and 1.5 Rushes (1.5 was a Rush with a slightly thicker chassis) was the enormouse amount of chassis flex in the rear of the truck. Even with the optional aluminum brace, the rear end flexed HORRIBLY. Which lead to many a stripped spurr gear..They may have nailed the issue with the EVO's redesigned motor plate, but I don't know.
