Hi, I'm building a UAV with some friends at school and we are having a tough time deciding between a micropilot system and a cloudcap one. We know how great piccolos are and how much more they are used, but we are getting offered a great education discount by micropilot and so now its do we want to spend the money. What are the core pros and cons between the comparable systems of each company?

...or Kestrel autopilot system.
They are kind of new on the scene, but it is a good product worth looking at.
Has all the features you would expect from a high end autopilot:
1. size/weight
2. Hardware in the loop simulation environment
3. full featured ground station
4. lots of fully autonomous and semi autonomous modes
5. payload support options (gimbal camera, etc)

Yes, I am a little biased.
