FYI -Loyalhanna Dockyard now carries the OTW kits!!! I'm trying to find more information as to costs and shipping delays.

Let me know. Ive decided on the full kit with running gear and been told the $200 fibre tower is well worth it and cuts down on build time. Im still trying to decide if this sub is too difficult to build for me. Im just afraid Ill get a big box of pieces and parts with only a few pics or a diagram that reads like the space shuttle wiring schematic to go by!

If you haven't been there yet,www.otwdesigns.com. There is a complete listing of the items in the kit. The hull is shipped in one piece, all 82.25" of it ! I was told that if you have a fair amount of model building skills, it won't be too bad of a build.
There is a guy on the Subcommitte building one and has said that he would help in any way that he can, if needed.
The decking is photo etched brass as well as several other parts. I was also told to buy the tower and save my soul!!! I guess it's a mean unit to build in brass.
I have not heard from Loyhanna yet. I'll try again and let you know.
