Need some help.

I am trying to use FMS and the FMS Stryker model. I am using a Hitech Neon with the USB cable. FMS "sees" my radio with no issues. I am having trouble figuring out the controls. The Neon uses channel 3 as the throttle and channels 1 and 2 for the control surfaces. I can not for the life of me figure out the control surface setup in FMS. The throttle is working no problem. I have alternated channel 1 and 2 between the elevator and aileron and even turned on mixing on the radio. With mixing on, I can see (in calibration mode) that the control surface deflect in opposite directions (left surface goes up, rights goes down and vice versa). Got any setup advice?

penguin356,

To figure out your controls, go to the analog calibration screen of FMS and move your sticks.

If throttle is working, then it is mapped correctly.

Move your stick up and down, which number is above the blue bar that goes up and down. Put that number in as elevator.

Move your stick left and right, note which number is above the blue bar and put that number in the aileron and rudder.

On a 4 channel airplane you'll get some rudder/aileron coupling but on 3 channel planes, it'll fly just fine.

On an analog joystick I get rudder = 4, elevator = 3, aileron = 4 and throttle = 2. Your type of controller may vary.
