I could really use some help here. I am fairly new to heli's and I am trying to set up my JR6102 transmitter to practice inverted flight on the XTR flight sim. I can not seem to make it work properly. The switch does not make a difference at mid idle. Does anyone know how to set this this controller for inverted flight?

i cant help ya yet i just ordered my reflex xtr, but i too have a jr6102 radio and i hope it works, they were having some troubles with them, the reflex site mentioned some fixes. i too wonder how u can run normal or idle up mode. maybe its in reflex calibration screen and not with the switch on the radio. maybe u just have to adjust your pitch curve in radio to show neg pitch? i will be messing with mine when my reflex arrives

If your experience in heli flying and radion programming is at a start, don't bother at this moment. Don't use any programming on the radio and let Reflex do the thinking. AS-IT-IS, a governor is taking care of the engine so you have full engine in pos and neg pitch ranges.

Connext the radio, do the calibration with no mixers active in your radio. Assign the channels by reading what the bottom line says and DO what is written there. No "I-knwo-better" here as it won't help.

To avoid early crashes with some helis, please start the simulation with the pitch stick slightly lower than the center.

I did what you said but the heli still will not fly inverted. I played with the throttle curves and pitches and it seemed to help. It just does not seem to give me the negative pitch I need to go inverted

I have the throttle curves working properly but can not seem to get the negative pitch programed properly. Any suggestions?

Finally figured it out by using the hover training and then playing with the settings while in that mode. That might be something to note for the next person who is having trouble getting their controller to work properly.
Thanks for all the help

what setting are u playing with, in the radio or in reflex while in hover training? and did u need to mess with pitch curves in your radio? :)

I was using the settings on the radio. I would recommend using the 3DMP heli's as they seem to be easier to set up for inverted hovering. The thottle currve and the pitch curve both need to be adjusted. OPnce I figured it out it all made sense though. It will actually help me set up my nest heli for inverted flight.

I can't understand the problem here. I am a complete thicko type novice, but flying the helicopter inverted is NOT difficult and I have NOT made any adjustments to my transmitter.

When I flip the helicopter over, I simply pull back on the left joystick and UP........ she goes. (The pitch is simply reveresed)

When I first tried, I fell into the trap of increasing the pitch, but it just accelerated the downward speed :)

I am NO expert and still find flying it EXCEEDINGLY hard. I certainly have not even mastered the very, very basics and just stumbled across how to fly inverted by accident!
