ramjet igniter

Does anyone here know how to make a sparkplug igniter for a model ramjet? I just don't know where to get the plans.

Any chance I can get away with a rotory BBQ sparker? :)

go to http://www.turbinemuseum.de/Gasturbinen/gasturbinen.html and look up the "bangbox"

there's also another smaller sparker there but can't remember how to find it. owner of the page is a member here called something like "turbotom" so maybe do a search and contact him directly.

Hey thanks for that link, pretty coll stuff there, but I'm gonna try a BBQ igniter first cause I just don't fell like soldering and searching for all the components to the bangbox, but if it doesn't work I'll give it a shot.

I wonder what's more important for ignition, voltage or amps?
