played my friends G2 year ago I am trying to search from Reflex these menus to adjust electric engines behaviour, prop sizes, wingfoils, see the attachment what I mean, or is this done by RMK. Manufacturers www pages tells so little of anything

Reflex works completely different. I was just looking at the RealFlight homepage. There is no information of that sort on their page. On the Reflex page you can download a demo that let's you install the program and scroll through all the features.

Yes I downloaded it and was amazed how little you are able to adjust with it. Of course G3 might have too much of those options to adjust, but I would like to test different combinations how they affect on plane (cheaper to do with simulator than in real life)

"how little you are able to adjust with it" - I wonder why so many people complain about the tons of parameters to be set in Reflex. Please keep in mind that Reflex is a model FLIGHT simulator, not a construction tool like solid works. Personally, I feel that changes in G3 airfraft features have some effect but they do not correspond to what you see on the screen. Do you really think you can change the airfoil of an AT-6 to something different in reality and do you really think, these changes, if they could be done, would somehow relate to the characteristics as shown in G3?

Try for yourself. Take the AT-6, enlarge the prop pitch to 16 and see what it does. Take Motorcalc and do the same. See what kind of thrust you are getting and judge. So much for the sense of some parameters. If you want to compare these two programs, you are trying to compare apples and peaches. G3 has a different approach to their customers. They are eating-up a lot of resources to entertain their customers like the cockpit view mode and some params to play with. That is part of their strategy and thats fine. So if you want some entertainment and some simulation, G3 is the right product for you. If you want pure simulation only on a more dedicated level, the Reflex might be the product to look for. But please don't make the mistake to expect that G3 will help you selecting the right prop for you. That won't work.

Thanks for your valuable comment. I just am afraid not to be able to have F5D pylon type of behaviour from Reflex. Somehow it seemed easier in G3 with like wingfoils and motors etc. even it has bit too much options.

Contact the reflex guys. They are pretty open to new models and will certainly help you to adopt flight characteristics until you feel happy with what you see.

Is all this tweaking of the models to try and make Reflex feel more realistic? I too tried this approach with some limited success. I found that increasing the speed of the sim made just about all planes seem very real. This is done by changing the default value of the "time expansion factor" under modify simulation parameters and then clicking on the general tab. Any number less than 1 will speed up the sim. I find that at the stock speed, the models seemed a bit too gentle and floaty. Try a value of about ".8" for a more realistic experience.
