Contact the mfg. I'm sure if you send back the old one (chewed) and some documentation they will replace it at low or no cost. You could make one, too. If you have a copy of SoftIce etc. :)

More fool you for having a croc as a pet then!!!! ...............Cheers rutat, it looks like thats the best option for me. I thought their may of been someone out there that would be willing to part with one for cash second hand. If I have to buy a new one I will, not a prob, just thought I could get one second hand thats all.

Reflex warranty (http://www.reflex-sim.dyndns.org/reflex-sim/shop/catalog/faqdesk_index.php?faqPath=53&language=en)

The important sentence:

"I replace EVERY defective interface free of charge. The chances of a factory broken interface are very low but the CAN HAPPEN. If this happens, it is my duty to replace it free of charge. Please send in your defective interface - it will be replaced*. I don't care about the reasons. If you are resoldering the plug to make it suitable for your radio and it doesn't work afterwards - no problem, as above. If you are crossing the interface with your chair - as above. If your dog/crocodile had eaten it - as above but please clean it before shipping."

Depending on your country of residence, you may try with your local agent which could have a good effect on shipping cost and time.

You know it amazes me how these dogs are that intellegent to know that chewing the USB dongle totally disables the use of XTR. Most dogs are that thick they stick to chewing slippers, the sofa etc, apart from the really clever ones who chew your wallet !

As Kurt mentions, take the chewed up original to any Reflef agent and ask about a waranty replacement.

Why can't these people at least make up a NEW excuse. If I had a penny for every time I'd seen the "dog excuse", I'd have... well, probably around a buck. But still.

Hi Kurt,
I am a VERY happy customer, but have a slight problem with the USB dongle thingie.

I have two USB plugs on the front of my PC, but when using the Dongle, the plastic casing is so big, it stops me from inserting a second connection.

Is it possible for me to remove the lower half and fit a thin strip of plastic?

I am talking about the level surface and NOT the raised telephone connection hump.

Apologies for being off topic but it is talking about 'dongles'

Perhaps my dog could simply chew the lower casing off.

Regards,
John

Rather than muck up the box and be forced to blame your dog :) why not just get a USB extension cord? They cost a couple of bucks.
