have bought Reflex XTR in order to learn to fly helis, but have only got my old trusted FF4 radio (which connects ok).

I am going to upgrade to a 9X very soon. Is it worth starting to learn to fly on the FF4 or should I just wait a month until I get my 9X??

The FF4 is very sensitive and seems very hard to fly any of the helis.
Could be me of course

Planks are ok

Thanks

PPM input is PPM input - doesn't matter where it comes from. Reflex is a little harder than real life but that's on purpose. Better to do a harder training than getting the idea it's too easy and get the push on the field.

With the FF4 you don't have gyro sensitivity settings. If you want t fly the helis with the heading lock gyros you have to set the gyro sensitivity manually to 75-85%. Try this - should get better.

Ok Kurt, I'll give that a go. Yes you are right, better to be harder on the PC that be harder on the pocket in the field ;)
