Hi guys,
I am trying to make an adapter for a friend of mine. It is to go from a Hitec USB interface to his Futaba Brown Box radio. The interface comes with a 3.5mm male for JR radios but also came with a Futaba 6-pin DIN adapter. Unfortunately the Futaba Brown Box uses a 5-pin DIN with the pins spaced around a half circle. The adapter I am making has a 3.5mm female on one end and a 5-pin DIN on the other. Can anyone tell me which pins to solder together?
Thanks,
Paul

Pin1 (signal) connects to the tip and Pin 2 (ground) to the sleeve. But check the numbering on the DIN carefully (Pin 1 and Pin 2 are NOT next to one another).

If you share the link or info, it will be handy for other people who search for this info later.

Sure... here it is: (edit: this is looking onto the FRONT of the male plug.)
