Recently I came across an item on one of the model newsgroups which gave a
link to to a website with a large amount of links to various websites all
concerned with model making. These sites seemed to cover every type of
model making from boats, gliders, RC aircraft submarines and Tanks.
I believe the website was run by someone called Alan. If anyone can tell me
where that site is I would be most grateful.

Alan's Hobby, Model & RC Web Links
http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~atong/
A directory to 000's of Radio Control Aircraft, Yachts, Boats, Cars, Plastic
and Resin Kitset modelling web sites. Many RC FAQ, Modelling and RC
Construction articles, Model and RC related Manufacturers and Retailers
sites.
Unlike all many other lists, the site is updated 2 - 4 times daily.
No advertising, pop ups or other hindrances. Built up over 7+ years by an
aging modeller who simply wishes to help others as other modellers helped
him over the years.
This also to make sure knowledge and old skills are passed on in an area of
increasing rtf, rtr, rts etc..
regards
Alan

Alan,
A sincere thank-you from this modeller who has practically benefitted from
your site on numerous occasions. I do appreciate the time and work that has
gone <and continues to go> into this wealth of information.

Make sure your fan and propeller is well guarded. Or wait until the
fish hit the fan.
