View Full Version : Main output transistor on TX burnt out. Need replacement

hello, the Main output transistor on my TX has burnt out, and in my LHS they say it is not possible to be fixed, well I dont believe that so I am writing this: I need a replacement for that transistor or something equivalent......please I need help to find it, I have done some research and I couldnīt find anything....The radio is a hitec laser 4

I believe it uses a 2SC4910, which is obsolete and hard to find. The 2SC4735 looks like it might work. But, I don't think it is much easier to find.

These sort of transistors were used in CB radios, so you might have luck contacting a communications repair shop. If there is a R/C repair center in your country, and they will sell components, then they should be able to help you out. Otherwise, you could email RadioSouth and see if they will ship parts to your country.
