I made a few lost plane locators a few years back. They used 12c508's

I have the hex file named sos508.hex but I have no idea what pin does what now since it was a while ago since I but the last one.

Anyone able to point me to some more information on it ?

original hex file name is sos508.hex
It uses a pic12c508
No other parts but a buzzer and connectors.
1 (or 2) pins are used to oscillate a buzzer
and 1 pin is used to turn on a self contained buzzer.

Hi Covert,

If you are burning PICs whay dont you have a look at RC Cams Lost model alarm ...

It includes a glitch counter as well 8-)

I've built 2 of them and they work a treat !

Or you could order the PICs preprogrammed from him to save the hassle of burning them yourself...

Cheers,

Rob.
