We should get together and sort out what we need to do for the Turkey Fly. I have already talked to Tim about the winches. Tim and I will have our equipment there but we should also have the Club winch also. I sounds like we will have quite a few people there, some to fly and some to eat. I invited Pat and John from the Barnstormers club. Pat Hewitt is also a KCSE member. We could meet at the 175th field next Saturday. Please post any ideas on a location to meet at or anything else we need to do. Thanks, Jim.

Good idea. Maybe we should meet at the field around noon for a short planning session. If it's to uncomfortable out we could head for a restaurant and hash it out there. Forecast is for a fair amount of wind Sat. and Sunday. Anyone wanting to fly could do so either before or after the meeting.

My daughter has her last volleyball tournament on Sat morning. If she loses first match I'll be there, if not I'm in for a day at the gym.
If the meeting time changes please post here.

Nov. 5th, Saturday, at the Gardner Field, 175th & Lone Elm Road
Pilot's Meeting will be at 9:30, First Round at 10:00, but if you get there late you can make up your round. (This will be a very relaxed contest!)
Entry Fee: $5.00, and that includes lunch which will probably be Chili and who knows what else we can dig up.
We will fly 3 Rounds and then have Open Winch and Flying, unless you guys just haven't had enough of the competition. Be prepared to do some buddy flying (Your Buddy(matched by the CD) gets your score). LSF Tasks may be scored if there is enough interest.
Fly whatever you bring, all classes combined, including electrics. The electric climb will be shut off at winch height or there abouts, determined by committee.
Landing zones will be set up for those wagering to have a good time.
If the weather forecast looks bad we will cancel and fly the following weekend. Decision to be made Thursday as early as possible. Current forecast is for 64 Degrees and Winds at 7 MPH. Light Clouds. Perfect for Wild Turkey.
