Has anyone tried to convert this plane? It sure looks nice. I was thinking about an AXI 2826 with a 3s2p lipo 4200mah pack. Seems like it wouldn't cost a bundle to convert. Here are the specs:
Wingspan: 42" Length: 44.3 " Wing Area: 597 sq. in. Flying Weight: 5.5 lbs. Required Engine: .40 - .52 Required Radio: 4 Channels w/3 Standard Servos & 2 mini servos

A 2826 motor will work but you will need more than a 3s2p pack, 4s2p or 5s2p would be much better. Ideally a 4120/14 on a strong 4s2p pack spinning a 14x10 prop at 650 watts , or a 5s2p pack and 12x10 or 13x10 at 850 watts.
My very similar world models ultimate has flown well on 4120/14 power on 4s
I may try a 5s or 6s setup on a 2826/12 for a lower amp hv lite setup(5s or 6s 2100 tp prolites)
