Just got my Robbe F-14 Marine Radio from Ships N Things. Great people over there!! Got it in no time!!
I've had my share of radios and I must say I like what I've seen in this F-14. Love all the room for customizing it. No screws to take it apart, everything plugs in, no soldering!! Very functional radio!! Fitts well in the hands and none of this crazy looking cases. Straight forward and to the point. ;)
Only thing I disliked was the antenna mount. The large antenna flexes the radio case a lot, a bit flimsy. Hard to beef it up!
I look forward to running this with my Footer
Bell River (http://greatlakesmodeling.com/tips/footer/footer_intro.htm)
Functions will be:
Port and Starboard main engines
Bow and Stern Thrusters
Ballast System
Horn
Lights
Operating boom - raising and swinging
Future thoughts
Operating deck winches
Anchor windless

I'm happy with my F-14C , you can also convert it to F-14 Navy with twin throttle stick on the left joystick for independent / parallel control of twin screw boats and has endless additional expansion facilities

You chaps have got me excited as I await the arrival of my new F-14 Navy. I was hoping to apply it to some of my existing boats to permit the addition of more functions and also to bild a "Mister Darby". However, I now find that the kit is not imported into France, probably too big and too few sales. So, I am thinking of Graupner's "Tito Neri" any thoughts, anyone built one?

Adam66 built a Tito Neri(left). I liked the color scheme too.
He said these were both in the "Wagenborg" color scheme

Graupner boats seem to go together quite well.

Hi.
A good advice:
If you want to buy a Robbe F14 – take a look at the Robbe FC16.
FC16 is the same radio ad F14, but with computer. All the accessories that fit the F14 also fit the FC16 included the Navy stick.
The computer make it possible to adjust travel, reverse etc. The FC16 can store data from different models, it’s therefore easy to switch to another model.
The F14 is a “old” radio where all adjustment have to be done manually.
Good luck

Just a quick note,
The Robbe/futaba transmitters are Limited to 8 channels maximum.
However any One of those channels can be broken down into(and up to)
16 smaller "steps" and using a decoder used to control 16 functions.
If you reserve two channels for power and steerage, that would give you four functions plus 96 additional "functions" if the remaining 6 channels were split to the maximum capacity. Harbor Models declares the F14 capable of 104 functions.
Maybe that's being a bit nit picky, but I don't think anything has more than 14 actual channels. ;)

lol i think its 106 acourding to there cataloge anyway lots mind you i got a mate who dose model trucks and he's got all the fucntions running not all for one truck mind you !!
On a more helpful side have done a wiring diagram for the switch decoders with lots of picys and i hope easyer to understand instructions than the tiny piece of paper you get in the decoder box .
If any one is intrested i will post a link
