I've just been looking through some of the Forums I don't visit very often and came across this one for Boat Videos (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&f=277&page=1&pp=25&sort=lastpost&order=desc&daysprune=-1).
There are no posts as yet, but as it was new to me, perhaps it may be the same for others in the boat forums.
Before I got my broadband installed, I read of various videos which I would have liked to see.
Who's first?

Tony, It's good to see your name as a poster. Was sorry to see the recent dustup, want to say how much we appreciate your work as a moderator; a thankless job if ever there was one. Let us keep on hearing from you -

Thanks for that, Bill! Much appreciated, as were the others with similar sentiments from 'Boats' users. Thanks all!
I haven't actually been away but because of our lake problesm (water level going down and weed level going up) I've been messing around with aircraft projects too.
I hope to get started on Turbinia shortly - pics will accompany progress, with a bit of luck.
Although not a mod any longer, I still believe in the original ideas of a family friendly site, and fully support that even if I'm no longer fully convinced of the owner's strange ideas of how to move things on. He must get used to announcing changes and communicating - this new Forum mentioned above is part of that problem. Time will tell.
Many of the ex mods - including me - are taking part in an advisory group to try and get things back on a more even keel (boat terminology gets in here!) and heal the rift. There's still a lot of distrust evident, but nothing's impossible.

Tony, I'm sure that most of us agree with you about the site, although Jim's little "quirks" must have caused more than a little head scratching at times. Well, we've at long last got a little rain in Spain (even on the plain). With a bit of luck autumn rains and the cooler weather will soon cure your water level and weed problems as well.
Loking forward to seeing "Turbinia" action shots.
