I have just ordered a Wing Warrior E-Slayer after have a couple of successful flights with a friends Unicorn. Anyway, this is the first time I have ever flown and was wandering just how beneficial the Aeroflyer Pro simulator would be for me.
Any reply/tips will be appreciated :D

I guess any simulator will do... Flying a couple of hours with a sim (no matter what kind) is always a good practice...

I've only flown about 8 packs through my Slow-V, after practicing on FMS for a few months. Deciding I was in the hobby to stay, I went out and bought Aerofly Pro Deluxe with the Game Commander (transmitter) last week, and I'll say it's the best thing I could have ever done.
Slowflyers are hard to find for AFPD, so you'll probably end up flying a conventional trainer or 3-d ship. That said, the opportunity to fly (and more importantly, crash) different types of planes whenever I want has been invaluable. Instead of wrecking a model, you can learn orientation, recovery etc without having to buy new parts. I figure I'll save way more than the cost of the sim by reducing crashes.
It's a fair bit of money, so if you just want the basics, FMS may be for you. If you want to continue in the hobby, I would say AFPD is a good thing to have. I don't know about g3 or Reflex, which may be good as well.
Good luck,
C.F.

Hey C.F.
Well I received AFPD on Friday, and I must says its really good. Plus I have mananged to download a Zagi wing which flies really well. So far so good with the flying also. After over 10 years messing and racing with R/C cars of all shapes and sizes I decided to have a go at flying after I had a sucessfull 30 min fly with a friends Unicorn. It was great to actually think that I was "learning" something new. I had always been put off by R/C flying in the past after seeing friends land their balsa planes rather hard and spending a while after picking tooth picks up from the ground LOL.
But, since having a go with these new EPP wings they certainly seem beginner friendly I think. Well thats what im finding anyway.

It's amazing how many similar stories you hear on these forums, that's EXACTLY how I got into this hobby :)
I raced gas and electric off road, and was freaked out by these gas powered balsa things that flew around. I heard you had to spend large dollars, get an instructor, join a club blah blah blah. I just wanted to rip around and tear stuff up.
With electric flight, and these stupid-low prices for ARF's and RTF's, as well as being tired of rebuilding gear boxes and suspensions, I figured it was time to try flying.
I love AFPD more and more the more I use it. Good luck with it.
