Looking for some input on having a kit laser cut. Anyone have any recommendations about who may provide this service. Pro's/cons, or personal experiences. TIA Merlin

I don't have any experience building a laser cut kit yet, however, I have a short kit here and the parts are very accurately and precisely cut. It should provide for a very accurate wing. Try Laser Arts for one of the vendors of such services. (members.aol.com/laserartco/index.com). I'm sure others are out there.

Thanks Gene, I've had a few hand/machine kits custom cut. I was thinking of trying a laser cut kit.basically for the time frame involved. All the handcuts I've had have been very accurate. About as accurate as the plans were drawn. Laser will also only be as accurate as the plot or vectors are. Merlin

Here are two sites that do Laser Cut...

I've actually talked to these guys at the Southeast Model Show in Perry... their stuff looks really good and no need to even sand before assembly...

www.funaero.com

and this one looks good also: http://www.precisioncutkits.com

both of these sites are very responsive and will talk to you. email is quick and personal...
