I know it may be a dumb idea, but i was thinking about putting twin outboards on my trojan cruiser. Hobbico (aquacraft) has a pretty neat looking motor for their bass boat, has a standard 550 in it, should be plenty of power with two of them. Do you think it may be too much weight hanging on the stern of the boat?

You should be able to move the battery pack(s) around to keep the cg forward enough (about 30% forward from the transom).

DDS,
Could you please post photos of your Trojan cruiser? I am currently building one and its a great help to see closeups of other people's builds, plus it gives me finishing ideas. Thanks!

Well, good luck then... I ran into some problems on putting the hull together, but I am just a beginner. I put up a thread on the scale forum if you are interested to see my progress...
