The mini graupner needs to be Paired to run most boats at a decent speed.

it would be tight mounting two in this boat but i geuss you could do it. would it be beter to go to the small pro jet 2 and a 500 size motor 6cell pack should come in under 3 pounds./ dont know about the trust of the jet drives but i bet it would run ought prety good and would be cool to have. any more advise anyboody

I don't know how heavy the MRP Miss Bud is, but it would do better on the pro jet.

jet drives are less efficient than props, and I know from past experience that the miss bud was originally designed to run on two 600 size motors through a 1.5:1 gear drive with 12 cells.

my guess is that a 500 size motor with 6 cells on a jet drive wouldn't move the miss bud fast enough. something more like a speed 700 with 12 cells or a mid size brushless with a 4 cell lipo would be needed to get the miss bud to run with a jet drive.

i must have a really small one or somthing this thing is only about 24 inches and dousent way a pound i may be dumb but i dont see geting 2 600 and 12 cells in there pro jet 700 maybe 10 cells would be tight as hell i do have a johnson 970 7 pole that i have been looking at for some time this thing is huge with tuns of power 10 cells would realy make it spin again this is not for race just something to have fun with 25-35 mph would be great i just like doing this that are diferant and i havent seen any thing like it
P.S. anyone have any info on the johnson 970 7 pole motors i can get then for $13 new thought about puting 4 out boards on a 48" aero cat and using them to power it with 10 cells per motor just a thought

i dont think a single jet drive will power that hydro to a speed you'd want. also you might have problem with making that boat plane. remember that the jet drive sucks water and therefor will make the boat dig in at the rear.
