Pardon me if I've posted to the wrong group, but is there a secret to filling the fuel tank? I have a 3-port 6oz. tank. Two of the ports are connected to the carb and silencer, the third port is used for refilling. I use a small injector bottle for refilling.
As soon as the tank is filled approx half way, the fuel start to spew out the silencer and/or carb. I can never fill the tank to the brim.
Is there a right and wrong way to fill the tank with the injector bottle?

I think you'll find that the line you're filling through bends up to the top of the tank and the muffler pressure line just goes through the stopper and ends somewhere near the middle of the tank. If this is how it's set up then just fill through the muffler pressure line. Regardless, either the muffler pressure line or the third line must be bent up to the top of the tank to let air out as you fill it.
The way I prefer it is to have the muffler line go straight through the stopper and the vent line bent to the top. Fill through the muffler line and then blank off the vent when the tank is full or you won't have any muffler pressure.

Fair dinkum, mate.
Like a berk, I had inverted the silencer and filler vent lines.
Doing it the way you suggested has now cured the problem.
Many thanks for you answer.
