Hi scalecrazy. Twin engines, eh? Looks pretty cool!

Some thoughts from looking at your pics:

You have really long runs for your fuel tubing. And no muffler pressure that I can see. Pretty sure you are going to need muffler pressure for those long runs. If you do not run muffler pressure though, you will need to install a vent line in the fuel tank.

That copper piping must weigh a lot but it is probably good 'weight' because I imagine you still need lots of ballast. Good dual purpose there!

I recently broke one of my stuffing boxes free from the hull so I cut out the other one. Then I moved both back lined them up to the motor perfectly I hope.
Well now the shafts fit in place perfect in match to the motors

Yes at first I ran into a sifening efect with the added exaust preassure from 2 lines running into one tank. So I fix the problem a second tank as low as I can put it also making my fuel lines closer to the motors. You can see the smaller tank in the pic above it now has no problems flooding the motors.
I also thought that the copper pipe would add to much weight but my boat all fueled up every thing altogether is 5 pounds lighter than pusars dauntless which is electric, those batteries must add alot of weight.

i may be wrong but all the cabin crusers i have ever seen the exaust pipes were all ways at the water line. not up under the deck. living on long Island sound and a uncle having a boat yard gave me a lot to look at.

you are right I`ve only seen exuast on the water line and thats what I was going to do to. But I started thinking with mufflers so low when I stop the boat water might get in though the hole. this is my first scatch built. I have a miss bud boat and when I slow down or stop the boat I get a back splash and water would seep in though the back of the boat into the hull though my exaust cowl.

Crazy
you only have to run it down to the water line. leave the rest up. this way the water will not get in. the real ones do this and or a flap valve.

the crazy thing about the real dauntless is the exaust came out the sides of the superstructior right where the main cabin is, so I figured it would be open season I even thought about doing it the way the real boat is In the end I kind of like the look and I know I`ve seen boats with exaust up high like this

Or you can put a bend in the exhaust line going above the waterline, like the P trap in a sink, so that water can only go so far. My old Hemi ski boat with tramsom exhaust had such bends in the exhaust manifolds.

I think thats what i ment. the picture showed the pipes. so they only need to drop down to the water line, hence a p trap.:-)
