You load it into your computer and can fly the airplanes in the program.

Can't fly them in R/C mode.

You can fly them either from inside or outside the planes. You can also fly them from "tower view".

I used a joy stick. but also had used an interface meant to work with FMS and my trasmitter. You can use the keyboard if you don't have a joystick.
