I am trying to graduate from electric park flyers to a good beginner electric heli. Lets assume price is not an issue, what do you veterans suggest within these criteria...

1) Ease of set up (heli and radio). I have a JR652 and thus am considering the Venture. I would think set up would be easier with this combo. ???

2) Reasonable learning curve.

3) Durability without sacrificing all performance.

I have been looking at the Lite Machiness Corona, the JR Venture, and the Eco 8. Any other suggestions are welcome

Thanks in advance for you help!!

The Venture uses CCPM mixing.

I have never used a JR652..I fly with a JR8103..but too the best of my knowledge, I do not remember the 652 having CCPM mixing in the Radio...

If this is the case stick with any heli not using CCPM...Raptor, Nexus, Hawk, etc...Otherwise, plan on dishing out a few bucks to get a higher end radio.

Well acording to your critera the Corona would be the way to go.

1) VERY VERY easy to set up.

2) I hovered a glow powered one for well over a minute the first time I tried. I now have a Corona and it is easier to hover.

3) If you don't know how durable the Corona is, you must be VERY VERY new to this :D
