If your props are measured in inches they are probably not reallu meant for racing. hace a look at www.offshoreelectrics.com for their range of Octura or Graupner props. You should get good advise from them.

this is the only way i had to mesure the props dont no the specs for any of them the pitch looks the some the 2" should be about 50mm that seems big to me but even after about 5 runs on 12 cells the motors are not geting hot but the batterys do would i be better off going with a smaller prop with more pitch i would geuss these are about 1.2-1.4 pitch also the props are turning the same direction is this bad do i need to have them spining oposet what efect does this have

With twin motors, it's usually better to have the props running opposite ways. The graupner standard props have a 1.4 pitch and if your motors are 500 size a 31-33 mm diameter is probably the best compromise.

i thought that 50mm prop was to big but the motors are not geting hot. i would like to get some new carbon props but dont know where to start.

The link to www.offshoreelectrics.com would be a good starting point for the carbon props. Btw, your esc is likely to burn out quicker than your motors.

i went there and posted in there boards still wanting on a responce though. Idont mind buying qualty stuff i will probly get 2 astroflight esc one for each motor. I dont like buying something when i have no clue as to what to get. That is why i am looking for help. Would like the boat to run 30-40 mph on 2 8 to 10 cell packs one for each motor and i dont have a clue what prop would get me close to that size or pitch.
