Hpi Mt2

has anyone seen/tried a two speed gear box in an mt2? what was it, how
do I get one? Ideas on any other hop ups would be cool,

ya. i have an mt2 as well and i bought the tmo speed tranny for it. The only froblem i had was that the stock t-15 motor (no unfortunatly i didn't grab the ss version) didn't have the power to stay in second. as soon as i would hit second it would slow back down till it shifted to first again. so whats a guy to do but drop the biggest, baddest motor i could get for a good price and drop it in. I ended up with a O.S. MAX .30 VG. Thats over three horses of tire melting power. along with this conversion i got a three shoe clutch from a savage, duratrax universal motor mounts and hardened steel bevel diff gears. i also made second gear taller. now when it hits second the tires break loose and if theres enough traction it will wheelie.
