Cnn Uav Report

Just caught the tail end of a report on CNN about the use of Fixed wing and helicopter uav's in New Orleans and Mississippi. Was it any of our guys on the list?

Actually, it was some folks out of the Univ. of Florida and they didn't ACTUALLY get into N.O. to do any flying. They got within three miles and were turned back. They did stop in MS on the way back and flew some areas that had pretty much been cleared but they did it anyway. At least that what the story was on the website.

I may have the link to the article in my outbox at home. Gene and I talked about it a bit saturday night and unfortunately the team had to bail because of gunfire I believe.. There is also member of that group that spends some time in the AP forum.. You may want to post there for a little more insight.. The same group has alot of members that use all types of "robotic" vehicles to do searches... The use track vehicles, fixed wing and helis to do searches..
