I was just reading some threads and saw a picture of the ava and noticed that the lower part of the rudder sticks down really low. It just got me wondering how you land this plane without damaging the tail. Do you guys usually hand catch it or is it just high enough to clear the ground when landing? Just something that I was curious about.

:) Don't worry, its not an issue.
Two contest seasons and no problems.

Ok, thanks for the reply Charlie Britt 7, I thought I had my mind made up with my new ship but then I got to looking closer at the ava. What a beautiful ship! Now I think I might spend the extra money to "do it right the first time".
