I've only had it a very short while and the servo is playing up big-time.

When I'm not touching the controls the servo goes completely apeshit. Like
it can't find the position it's supposed to be at, (that's the best
explanation I can come up with.)

It's pretty much a stock setup, (original TL Receiver and ESC.) I have
fitted a Reedy Mini-Max to it. Would that cause any problems?

It's not interference as the motor does exactly what I tell it to.

I've had the servo in bits and cannot find a way of finding out what's
wrong, could it be the receiver?

And if it is, what's the best servo and Receiver and ESC combo to get?

TIA

From the sounds of it, it seems like the servo gears busted. I have seen
that same thing happen at our track, and that was the problem. New servos
are about $13 I think. If you want to upgrade the servo, keep in mind that
you will need to upgrade the speed control and receiver too, because the
stock setup combines all of them together. If you upgrade, the Hitec HS-55
is a descent servo. I think they have a metal gear version also, but I'm not
sure of the model number offhand. For a speed control, the Novak Spy is
great for the price, but if you want all out speed then go with the
brushless setup. Tekin and Mamba make systems for it. These are more
expensive though. As for the receiver, that all depends on your radio. Any
receiver compatible with your radio will be ok, but obviously smaller is
better.

Cheers for that, did get it sorted a while back though.

Going on about the Mamba, did you see that site with the 60MPH+ MINI-T?
