Hi,

I am about to build a BOT wing. I have the kit and the wood is ok but not brilliant. I intend to use CF cap'd hard balsa instead of the spruce spars. I have some 1/4" by 0.007" uni cf tape (the stiff stuff not tow - although I also have aload of 12k tow). Can anyone help me as I do not know how much to use top and bottom of the spar. I am prob not going to do full zoom launches with it, actually I'll prob only use it off a bungee.

Will I get away with 1 layer mid section or will I need 2 or 3 mid and 1 on the outers ?

Hi Tim,

I am also building a BoT at the moment and I have found quite a bit of info here on the forums and on the 'net about strengthening the wing with CF/Kevlar.
