Dudes and Dudettes
I would like to apologize to any of you who have e-mailed me at denny@polecataero.com and not recieved a reply. Best we can figure out, a whole bunch of messages are stuck in the innards of "A Slow Hell" somewhere in the depths of cyberspace. Doubtful at this point if the stuff will even be recoverable and last night we set up a better way for me to recieve this mail. It works just fine and this morning the mail was coming through again. Lord only knows how long this has been going on so if any of you have been trying to contact me in recent history, please give it another go as it seems to be fixed now.
Once again, I apologize for any inconvience.

Well, I guess that explains why you never claimed that million dollar prize voucher we sent to you from RCM Magazine. And now that RCM is no longer in business, you can't collect, but we appreciate your donation back to the publication.
Thanks!

Hey Mikey
Just donate it to the out of work columnists retirement benefit. I was gonna send a donation to that but, this should cover it:-)

Yeah, I wanted to order some of those carbon rod thingies a month or so back. I ended up getting some leader line/teflon instead. I just chalked it up to you recovering Denny. I do the email thing for a living and there must be some sort of SLA that you can use to recoupe some of your money for the lost service.

Hi Soardude,
What am I doing now? Well, I have to say that I have been more than just fortunate and blessed by the fact that within 48 hours after RCM ceased publication I was contacted by Air Age Publishing (Model Airplane News) and by MapleGate Publishing, (Fly R/C Magazine) and asked to write for them. My career in writing actually started with MAN after RCM turned down my construction article on a small pattern plane back in 1980. I continued to write for them until 1992 and then I went to RCM. At this point in time, I beleive my decision will be to join the Fly R/C team, as I am enthusiastic about joining a new, young magazine that is growing fast and very dynamic about the content. Make no mistake, I consider myself very lucky and blessed to be asked to write.
And to Denny, your donation is greatly appreciated, with the exception that I have no plans on retirement. So, I guess I have to set that money aside for the next time I need to buy some DLG's from you! You're too cool, dude!
