Open up the "Umwelt" folder in Reflex and you will see another folder called "WLP", the background file you downloaded go in there. Just make a new folder (if your file isn't in a folder already) in the "WLP" folder and put your download in the new folder (you can call the new folder what ever you want).

This is what my "WLP" folder looks like.

Hmmm ... that's interesting. How do you got a german Reflex in your country without deciding about the language in the installer? I better not investigate any further because I may not like what I could hear.
Anyhow, there is a menue item that chould be named like SPRACHE which is LANGUAGE in your world. Enter that item end select ENGLISH - that will change the menues.
Now, what would you do in any other program if you don't find your ways around? Get a cigarett? Wrong. Ask for a beer? Wrong. Contact a forum and eat up others valuable time to do siome reading for you? WRONG!!!
Just like most other programs, Reflex has a HELP system that reacts to either the F1 key, the HELP buttoms in the menue or that tiny little questionmark (?) at the right end of the menue bar.
That would have saved frustration on your side and my time to answer things that are so dammed obvious.
Whoa, whoa whoa there buddy, how bout you just calm down a little bit there.
Despite what you may think weather you select english as your language or not, there are many screens that show up in reflex that are NOT printed in English, even when you have bought the software in this country. Even after intallation and READING THE HELP FILES there are still many things that are confusing to non native german speakers. Some people are better at figuring them out than others.
You flying off the handle and whining about how you have answer someones "damn obvious question" doesn't help anyone at all. No one put a gun to your head to force you to answer this question on this forum. If it's that much torture to you, just don't answer, but don't insult the guy, perhaps another simple USER or CUSTOMER will simply answer the question out of wanting to help someone.
Training aids like hover training are in the menu under simulation. Scroll down and click on Torque training and select which axis' (no idea on the spelling of that one) you wish to control, and where you want the plane to be. Hit ok and it starts, resetting everytime you fall out of position by a certain ammount.

No reason to calm down. Using the english installer finishes everything right till the end. What comes next is a working program in english and if you use F1, the english help appears.
To find "also where are these training aids I keep reading about? thay teach you how to hover ect." you don't have to be a genious or a native german speaker, a simple F1 could have answered that question.
"but don't insult the guy"? If we don't start setting limits here and there, forum will end up answering "I'm hungry. Any suggestions what to do about it?" The original question was pretty close.
You don't like my answer? What a shame. I didn't like the question.

Start setting limits????????? I think that is the Moderators job and I'm sure if limits need to be set they will do it. It's not the job of a Registered User to start setting limits. It's very simple, if you don't like what your reading, move on to the next post (the mouse is in your hand).

Perhaps you sould read the question before posting a rude answer? My version of Reflex is NOT in german, but the folders that it installs into are still in german. Also I payed for my copy just like everyone else but hey thanks for calling me a thief. Try the help button on your head.

Furthermore, I wasn't calling you a thief. Watch what you are saying. Normally, I do a little thinking before writing.
Maybe you didn't call him a thief, but you did inferr that he managed to "obtain" a non-english version of reflex.

"but you did inferr that he managed to "obtain" a non-english version of reflex"
That is going out of control here. Just watch the way Reflex is handling copyright protection and how they provide updates, the source of a CD really is just a side issue and has very limited juristical implications. He can run the program in any language he likes and he can install the program in a language of his liking but what is the reason to claim non-understanding from a language that should not have been selected? Before you get me wrong another time, I was referring to "also where are these training aids I keep reading about?"
His question contains 2 parts: Part one has been takes care of by Charlie06. That information doesn't have to be covered by Reflex as the usage of third party sceneries is not a basic intention of the program. So if someone provides a non-intended add-in, he better provides a readme to cover the additional information.
Part two refers to what I was daring to oppose and what obviously calls for a lot of Roin Hoods. A totally useless fight here as it still doen't change facts: READ and try a VERY LITTLE by yourselve before posting.
You may not like it but there is some truth in it as well.

The person that made the add-on made it in german. SO kinda hard to talk to them, thats why I asked others that have already figured it out.
ALSO I had already reported this whole thread to be lock/deleted as my questions were already answered and this thread is now just a big fight.
Thanks for the help by the people that actually helped.
