is that a genuine 4 blade rotor head? How does it fly?

Yes it is the Vario 5 bladed head. It flies as well as I am able. If you look at the Vario videos you can see that a skilled pilot has no trouble at all.

This is my first scale heli, my first left hand rotation and first multi blade head, a total investment of £2k+ make me very nervous about flying the thing.

In the beginning I had terrible trouble with precession, where, if i remember right, a forward cyclic input had the heli rolling to the right. Right stick equalled back cyclic etc. All very un-controlled.

Another year on and I am still getting up the nerve to fly a circuit, but I am now relaxed about the control throws for hovering.
