I'm wondering if there's a way I could upgrade my G2 to G3 without buying the whole simulator package? Like the software maybe? Is this option available or is it "Throw your G2 in the garbage and buy the G3." :o
How about those popular Electic Airplanes that's in the market now, e.g. GWS Tigermoth etc. are they available? In G2 there's only quite a few electric powered aircraft which is sad

The sim needs to be installed with both the software key and the key code from the interlink. If the interlink SN is invalid it won't install.
There's a few more electrics in the g3.
I sold my g2 for a 100 bucks so it only cost me 80 to upgrade, if your going to garbage bin your g2 send it to me cuz g3 wont run on my laptop. Therefore I cant sit in the living room with the projector using the whole back wall for a screen.
I also had a fairly recent video card that wouldn't even start G3, had to schlep off to compusa for a 300 dollar video card upgrade.

Thanks guys for your reply.
Actually I learned from another thread that FMS is working with GWS and they are releasing a new FMS sim with GWS controller. So that's maybe the reason and only GP Electric airplanes are on G2 & G3 coz they are proprietary. :D
One comment though.. GP should also make their simulator upgradable. I mean if I buy the G3 now and I know that it would be.. should I say obsolete within a couple of years I will have a second thought of buying an expensive but good simulator. I'm willing to spend extra bucks just to get the new version.
I think this should be encouraged rather than those guys who's trying ro rip them off by doing illegal copies.
just me 2 cents.

this is one of the things i hate about g3. and one of the reasons i'll be getting reflex if i can sell my g3. with reflex if there are new planes or major updates you dont pay for them, unless you feel you got improvements worth paying for, and then its on the honor system. you pay what you think the additions are worth. that and the fact that it has 20+ parkflyers/electrics in the main program and many more are available on their site and others.
